The brand is UK based and is not the first to attempt to create a working clone fragrance company. There are many providers, but Copycat stands out among the crowd. This fragrance is quite a reliable substitute for the original label. There are traces of vanilla, cocoa, and tonka-bean as base notes. As a product, this is quite nice. It’s very warm and inviting, especially with the vanilla and cocoa working together. It smells not unlike a coffee shop, which is often a very relaxing, welcoming place. Tobacco Vanille is a very old money type of smell, feeling like it would fit in nicely at a cigar lounge or smokey speakeasy. This is another eau de parfum that copycat came out on top in our shoot out.
The original Green Irish Tweed is something of a timeless classic. However, the price makes people wince, which is why this substitute is fairly effective. With hints of lemon, verbena and violet leaf throughout the notes, this is a pretty good approximation of the finished product. In fact, it’s often thought to be more appealing due to the slightly fruity edge and it's really another high point for our copycat fragrances review. To be honest most of copycats creed clones are good, and this one is no exception.

This is the best selling womens fragrance on copycat fragrances website according to them, and honestly we can't say it's all too surprisiing it's a good dupe. The only real difference (and we could only spot this after 6 hours, were that with the copycat 540 version the traces of saffron, jasmine were a little more delicate. This is an offering which is floral and natural, and it does well. It smells gorgeous and manages to deliver a very “life outdoors” type of aroma. Can't knock the copy. It beats out both the Essence Vault and Match Fragrance's versions hands down.
Technically Neroli Portofino is unisex, and it does work great on men too, although usually only in summer. This offering is quite a fruity one, but it does work well for getting a good fragrance. You’ve got bergamot, mandarin and even musk for the base notes in the bottle. The finished product smells gorgeous and is very fruity without being overpowering. Due to the fact that the fragrance is so complext it's something none of the other dupe makers have been able to pull off. Copycat Fragrances's Neroli is surprisingly restrained, and it works well.
The last product that we’ll take a look at when it comes to Copycat Fragrances is their take on Black Orchid. Gardenia, blackcurrant and ylang-ylang are all smells present in this one. The finished product is something which a lot of people enjoy, and for a good reason. It smells good and is a unique entry - it even manages to stand apart from Black Orchid and stand out at the same time. Another good choice if you're looking for something from copycat fragrances.
Their 540 and Black Orchid dupes are great, the only catch with copycat fragrances is that their womens range just isn't quite that big. Their Lost Cherry is also really good although maybe match's version is slightly better on this. As such even though the quality is great, we can only give them a 4/5.
